Gary is instrumental in Mortgage Machine’s financial management and brings decades of financial leadership experience. With his Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University, he optimizes Mortgage Machine’s fiscal operations and strategic growth initiatives. His stewardship ensures financial stability, sound practices, and cutting-edge capabilities to position Mortgage Machine at the forefront of the mortgage industry.
James Cassinelli Chief Operating Officer
Beginning his career at North American Mortgage, James started as a programmer and incrementally worked up to Vice President. After stints at National City Mortgage and Wells Fargo in both IT/tech and origination roles, Cassinelli joined Mortgage Machine Services, where he is responsible for the development of features within Mortgage Machine to streamline mortgage operations. As an early adopter of eNotes, Cassinelli has a vast knowledge of eNotes, SMART Docs® and MISMO standards.

With over 30 years of experience as legal counsel in the banking industry, seasoned attorney Robert Ellis is the legal counsel for Mortgage Machine Services. His extensive knowledge of banking law, combined with a strategic approach, has earned him a reputation as a trusted advocate in the courtroom and boardroom alike. Throughout his distinguished career, Robert has safeguarded the interests of numerous financial institutions, including serving as Senior Vice President at National City Corporation. He continues to excel in providing top-tier counsel to Mortgage Machine.
Tim Thompson CTO
As CTO Mortgage Machine Services, Tim not only co-founded Mortgage Machine™ Services and co-developed the company’s namesake LOS, but he also provides strategic technical guidance to optimize and innovate operations inside the company. A true developer at heart, Tim constructed early integrations between various LOS systems and automated underwriting engines to help lenders improve their operational efficiency.

As the Head of HR, Pacia Crawford brings years of experience in human resources management to the table. With a focus on gathering talent and promoting growth, Pacia continues to drive impactful HR initiatives that elevate both employees and the organization. She started in the mortgage industry in 2003, and has worked in many departments it this industry throughout her career. She started with this company in 2007 and has been an invaluable team member ever since.
James Bode Manager of Special Projects
James Bode advises on various initiatives at Mortgage Machine Services including SOC-2 compliance and strategic marketing. He joined Mortgage Machine in January 2022 after 20 years at BOK Financial, a publicly held regional commercial bank holding company. He served most recently as Senior Vice President, managing the alternative investment department of BOK. James founded the group and the department grew assets under management in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Fund and Real Asset Investments to almost $2 billion. Prior to joining BOK, James worked for ten years as a partner in a venture capital firm and six years at a regional investment bank. He received his Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard University and his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University.
